We Help New Yorkers Feel Right at Home

HCA's New Logo
For Immediate Release: January 7, 2008

HCA Rings In 30th Anniversary Year With Striking New Logo
New Look, New Logo, Same Commitment to Quality Home Health Care Services

Highlighting its reputation as advocate for New York's mission-driven home care providers, the Home Care Association of New York State (HCA) today unveiled a new logo and organization colors.

"As HCA celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2008, we recognized that now is a unique opportunity to modernize the Association's look and create a graphic identity that best reflects our position as the New York home care industry's premier policy resource and advocate at the state and federal levels," said HCA President Joanne Cunningham.

In choosing a final design, Cunningham noted, it was essential that the new logo (see accompanying file link) represent HCA's service and membership area while underscoring its role as a statewide advocacy organization.

"We felt a new design was needed not only to update HCA's look but also to communicate HCA's prominence as an influential state association. Incorporating the state as the logo's main visual component makes clear HCA's work on behalf of New Yorkers," she said.

Meanwhile, Cunningham added, the logo's striking red and gray color scheme "sets HCA apart from our peers through a distinct look that will help us distinguish our Association as an advocate for quality home and community-based care."

The new logo is part of a broader effort to reshape HCA's branding and reflect the Association's stature as an active and influential voice in the legislative and regulatory arenas of home health care policy. Cunningham noted that HCA will also soon unveil a new website, equipped with an updated design accenting HCA's new logo and color scheme, as well as, new electronic communications tools that will maximize user access to important information and resources.
