The state Department of Health Bureau of Residential Health Care Reimbursement has published a correction to the January 1, 2018 hospice non-residence minimum wage rates and transmitted the rates to eMedNY for payment.
For agencies that have filed a certification for Recruitment, Training and Retention, the published rates include a 3-percent add-on payment in addition to the minimum wage correction incorporated into these rates based on survey data that was submitted and attested by hospice programs.
The rates and a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) have been posted under the 2018 tab.
According to the DAL, payments for these rates will be made in cycle number 2243, with a check release date of September 2, 2020.
