The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General has released the 2020 Top Management and Performance Challenges Facing HHS.
HHS says these top six challenges reflect overarching issues that affect multiple HHS programs and responsibilities, including: safeguarding public health, ensuring financial Integrity, protecting the health and safety of HHS beneficiaries, harnessing data to improve health, improving collaboration, and delivering value, quality, and improved outcomes in Medicare and Medicaid.
