HCA proudly congratulates our Leadership–In–Medicine interns Ms. Devneet Singh, Ms. Paytra Klein and Mr. Shayhaan Shaikh on the celebration of their “White Coat” ceremonies at Albany Medical College, marking a milestone in their medical career preparation!
HCA has been hosting and working with these phenomenal interns since March and so appreciate their exceptional contributions to our initiatives!
Ms. Kein has been working with HCA and Selfhelp clinical staff under our New York State Health Foundation grant to develop a standardized assessment tool for providers to use in evaluating and onboarding home care patients for Virtual Senior Center (VSC) services.
Ms. Singh and Mr. Shaikh have been working with HCA and clinicians from four HCA member providers, clinicians from both national and global Sepsis Alliance and HCA Board clinicians to develop what will be a state and national pace-setting pediatric sepsis screening and intervention tool for use in home care. Their work is being conducted under HCA’s Mother Cabrini Health Foundation grant for sepsis intervention.
HCA is a returning host site for the Leadership-In-Medicine program partnered with Union College, Clarkson University and Albany Medical College (AMC).
Ms. Klein, Ms. Singh and Mr. Shaikh are continuing their enthusiastic intern work with HCA in their new roles as AMC medical students. Join HCA in congratulating Paytra, Devneet and Shay – we’re proud of you!
