DOH Posts FI RFO FAQs

Situation Report | July 6, 2021

Last week, the state Department of Health (DOH) posted a Questions and Answers (Q&As) document related to the process under which a limited number of new entities will be allowed to continue to provide Fiscal Intermediary (FI) services for the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP).

The Q&As cover: award categories one through four; the award methodology; a calendar of events; continuous FI operations; the contract notification date; contracting; counties to be served; scoring for original offers; qualified offerors; survey submission; sale/acquisition of offerors; and more.

As a reminder, existing FIs (including both awardees and non-awardees under the recent Request for Offers) have been asked to complete a survey that will be used to determine any additional awardees. Surveys are due July 30.

DOH anticipates announcing awards with adequate time for an anticipated contract start date of November 1, 2021.
