Enroll Your Nurses in Free COVID-19 Training Before It Expires, Plus New Q&As

Situation Report | June 22, 2020

The grant period for HCA’s Home Care Clinician Training for COVID-19 Testing officially expires at the end of the month.

Are nurses at your organization enrolled? Please act now.

While this training program can be taken online 24/7, participants must get enrolled now and take the course as soon as possible.

Remember that there are no limits on the number of nurses at your organization who can take the course. The training is very manageable and takes less than an hour to complete. It will prepare clinicians for at-home testing of individuals who may be suspected of having COVID-19.

Get started or add more course participants by completing the online form here. From there, you will receive follow-up instructions and gain unique user IDs for each enrollee to take the on-demand course at any time.

New Q&As

Also, as announced to members last week, HCA has prepared some extensive Q&As related to COVID-19 testing, including whether physician orders are required, how reimbursement for testing works, CLIA waivers, and many other issues that providers need to know about when operationalizing this training. Please see the Q&As here.
