National Government Services (NGS), New York’s Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC), conducted a Home Health Advisory Meeting last week for the state associations and home health representatives in the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) J6 region.
HCA participated in the meeting and has prepared a detailed memo on: NGS provider service news; updates from a new appeals demo recently extended to include home health; the latest Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) results; the provider enrollment and revalidation process; a medical review and appeals data review, including news that NGS is suspending the targeted probe-and-educate initiative due to COVID-19; OASIS claim matching requirements; and upcoming education programs.
