The Center for Health Workforce Studies, based at the School of Public Health University at the State University of New York at Albany, has released its annual report describing the supply of and demand for workers, including home health care, both statewide and by region. It also provides projections for future demand.
The report finds that home health employment in the state grew by 54 percent from 2014 to 2018, including an increase of 40 percent in personal care aides and 31 percent in home health aides.
