The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced a policy to enhance transparency by requiring HHS to post certain analyses associated with a rule or demonstration project “at the time the results of the analysis are publicly disclosed, subject to certain limitations.” Among these are assumptions, working papers, models, and other information used as part of any impact analysis (e.g., economic, actuarial).
This policy only applies to rulemakings and demonstration projects that are proposed after November 30, 2020.
