Livanta: Many Providers Not Compliant with MOA Requirement of CoPs

Situation Report | March 15, 2021

In case you missed our alert last week, Livanta LLC, the Medicare Beneficiary and Family Centered Care-Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO) for New York, has notified HCA that many home health agency and hospice providers remain noncompliant with the requirement to have a signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Livanta.

As a final attempt to reach noncompliant providers, Livanta will be sending MOA notices by mail to organizations that do not have an MOA on file. If you receive this letter, you should visit Livanta’s website or follow instructions in the letter to access Livanta’s MOA form and submission instructions and other resources.

In the coming weeks, Livanta will be required to transmit a list of providers that remain noncompliant to the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Please be on the lookout for these letters from Livanta and submit your organization’s MOA if you have not yet done so.

Questions can be directed to the Provider Update team.
