The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated the Cost Report Acceptability Checklists used by Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to determine if cost reports submitted by home health, hospice and other providers are acceptable.

The revised checklist for home health and hospice cost reports reflects changes related to electronic submission of cost reports and documentation connected to bad debt.
