The state Department of Health and its contractor, KPMG LLP, recently announced that the 2020 Medicaid Home Care Cost Report will be available on Monday, August 16 for all Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), Licensed Home Care Service Agencies (LHCSAs), and Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) that were operational in 2020.
On August 16, impacted providers will receive an email from us-advrisknyshc@kpmg.com containing the new link to the Web-based Tool. Providers will have 90 days to complete the cost report. Cost report submissions will be due on Monday, November 15, 2021.
As part of the Home Care Cost Report Outreach Program, DOH and KPMG will host a 2020 Home Care Cost Report Statewide Kickoff Webinar on Thursday, August 26 from 2 PM to 4 PM. DOH and KPMG will follow up with the WebEx link and telephone dial-in information for that webinar in the near future.
In a June meeting with DOH, HCA and other provider associations, DOH provided the following important information:
- For users who completed the 2019 Home Care Cost Report, the log-in credentials for the Web-based Tool will be the same log-in credentials used last year.
- If you forgot your password, please click the “Forgot Password?” link on the Web-based Tool log-in page. You will then be sent an email containing the steps to reset your password.
- If your agency needs to add additional users to the Tool, either an individual from your agency or a hired consultant, please send an inquiry to us-advrisknyshc@kpmg.com.
HCA will update the membership on the 2020 Medicaid Home Care Cost Report as DOH and KPMG provide additional information.
