Participate Today in Home Care ‘Best-Practices and Future Insights’ Survey by Leading National Associations

Situation Report | April 12, 2021

Leading national home care and hospice associations have joined forces on a study of home care and hospice best-practices and future insights. HCA urges all of our New York members to participate in this national effort.

The National Healthcare at Home 2021 Best Practices and Future Insights Study is being commissioned by the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), NAHC Forum of State Associations, LeadingAge, Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), and the Council of State Home Care and Hospice Associations in partnership with the Research firm BerryDunn.

It is expected to be the most comprehensive study on the delivery of care at home to date. Results will include best practices on the topics of staffing, reimbursement, new care delivery models, palliative care, and more. HCA encourages providers in New York to be strongly represented in the findings by participating today.

Your efforts will not only help create a comprehensive report with global observations available to the industry at no cost, but participating agencies will also receive exclusive access to an interactive portal with detailed benchmarks and insights that can be segmented by size, outcomes, and more.

Your participation will involve a series of surveys over three months. Each survey should take 20 minutes to complete and can be assigned to different members of the organization for a total commitment of two hours over the three-month participation period.
