Act Now on HCA Priority Legislation

The state’s Legislative session ends on June 17. During this crunch time, HCA is working to amend any bills of concern. We are also pushing hard on priority bills that HCA and partner associations have advanced to support home care.

We need your help. The Legislature won’t be compelled to act unless they hear from you, their constituents.

As you know, HCA’s Legislative Action Center is an easy-to-use online tool for reaching your legislators. Now that it is crunch time, we need all HCA members to take just a minute or two to advocate for home care.

Right now, there are several online advocacy campaigns posted to the Legislative Action Center but we want you to focus on three of them. They are at the links below. Please click each link, enter your contact information, and send a message to your legislator with a push of the button to support HCA’s key legislative goals on these three measures.

Please also invite the top five engaged staff at your agency to follow these instructions as well.

As the legislative session deadline draws nearer, we may be asking you to pick up the phone on each of these bills, LANinstructionsor others, and it is imperative that you and your government-relations teams respond quickly to our advocacy instructions.

If you need any assistance in this process, please do not hesitate to contact HCA’s Communications Director Roger Noyes.

Please also click the image at right for a screen-shot and two-step instructions for acting on all of these important campaigns.
