Private Duty Nursing Directory for Medically Fragile Children is Now Available

 Situation Report | December 21, 2020

The Private Duty Nursing (PDN) Directory for Medically Fragile Children is now available for enrollment. The purpose of the directory is to ensure adequate access to PDN services by promoting the availability and ensuring delivery of PDN services for medically fragile children up to the age of 23.

An enhanced fee will be implemented for participation in the directory over a period of three years as follows: an additional fifteen percent on October 1, 2020, increasing to 30 percent on April 1, 2021, and then 45 percent on April 1, 2022.

The enhanced fee is added to the base fee or, if applicable, added after the 30 percent medically fragile children’s training and experience enhancement.

Participation in the directory indicates the willingness to accept inquiries to provide care to medically fragile children. Directory participants are expected to respond to all inquiries received. Only PDNs and Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) enrolled in the directory will receive the enhanced rate of payment.

The Private Duty Nursing Provider Directory is located here.
