Qualified Entities (QEs): How to Connect and Why it’s Important

Situation Report | March 1, 2021

As part of HCA’s Best Practices education series, we’ve added a new webinar on why it’s important for providers to make a connection with their local Qualified Entity (QE).

QEs, or regional health information organizations, are a regional network where electronic health information is stored and shared. The QEs in each region enroll participating providers so they can access and exchange electronic health information.

This latest webinar features Elizabeth Amato, Vice-President, Program and Services for the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC). It can be found in chapter 6 of our 12-part Best Practices series available free of charge thanks to grant support from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

Please register here and also watch any of the other 11 webinars in our series offering tips and insights ranging from care protocols to infection control to psychosocial supports for workers, recruitment and retention, and more.
