UAS-NY Update

Situation Report | September 21, 2020

The UAS-NY software will undergo an upgrade to version 1.9 from October 7 at 5 p.m. through October 8 at 8 a.m.

The following are some changes which may affect users:

  • The UAS-NY will require the Health Commerce System (HCS) ID of the user signing/finalizing the Community Health Assessment or Pediatric Assessments to match the HCS ID of the user who created the assessment.
  • The Nurse License Number will be a required item to sign/finalize the Community Health Assessment and Pediatric Assessments.
  • After a user signs/finalizes an assessment, the user’s first and last name will be displayed in the user interface below their HCS User ID. A user signature will continue to be required.

Version 1.9 paper assessments will replace all previous ones. The update will also publish new editions of certain manuals (see the Department of Health notice here for details).

Offline Application

DOH is also releasing v.1.9 of the UAS-NY Offline Application. The installation program and instructions are expected to be available in the UAS-NY Training Environment Course 8500 Online and Offline Application by close of business on September 30
