New ICD-10-CM codes are now available for use in the state Uniform Assessment System (UAS-NY), including six new diagnosis codes implemented at the federal level.
These changes will align with updates published by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The update will apply to both the UAS-NY Online Application and the UAS-NY Offline Application.
The updated ICD codes will automatically download to the user’s existing Offline Application without requiring a new version of the UAS-NY Offline Application. The download will occur when users sync their Offline Application to the UAS-NY Online Application.
