HCA’s top program and policy team is now even stronger.
Join all of HCA in welcoming Taylor Perre, MPH, MSW, Associate for Public Health, Education and Policy to HCA! Taylor comes to HCA with professional background in public health and social work, and an experiential concentration in aging, with positions and practica at the NYS Office for Aging in quality and research, direct supportive services for the elderly in several positions, hospital discharge planning, behavioral health, and LifePath Supportive Services for Older Adults working on elder abuse initiatives. Taylor will be working across major program and policy areas at HCA, provider and health plan member support, research and educational programing, grant-supported initiatives, and critically, will be a new core member of the HCA advocacy team interfacing with the Legislature, state agencies, and allied associations. HCA is so fortunate to have Taylor, her skills and contributions on our team. Welcome Taylor!
Also join all of HCA in welcoming Kaylee White, Program Assistant for program, research and policy under HCA’s major grant initiatives portfolio. Kaylee joined HCA as an Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences public health intern in February/March, conducting research and development for the now (soon-to-launch) HCA statewide training and educational program in mental health. This initiative offers support for home care, hospice and managed long term care staff under the “Health Disparities” grant to HCA. Kaylee fully joined our grant-program team in late May, where she has since been conducting research, program and policy work across these initiatives, and leading some of their key components. Kaylee was a lead developer of the just-issued HCA-HANYS-Iroquois joint Health Workforce report to the Governor and industry featured in this newsletter, and is also developing, with Taylor Perre and HCA’s Research and Development Director, Arianna Stone, MPH, several new resources for provider collaboration being issued in September. HCA is fortunate to have Kaylee’s skills, contributions and professionalism! Kaylee completes her public health degree in December!
