The state Department of Health (DOH) has posted the 2023 Medicaid levels (GIS 22 MA-14 (ny.gov)).
They include:
- The monthly income level is $1,563 for individuals and $2,106 for couples;
- The resource level is $28,133 for individuals and $37,902 for couples;
- The community spouse minimum monthly maintenance needs allowance is $3,715.50;
- The minimum state community spouse resource allowance is $74,820 while the maximum federal community spouse resource allowance is $148,620; and
- The home equity limit for Medicaid coverage of nursing facility services and community-based long term care is $1,033,000.
