NYC DOHMH Resource on Preventing Household Transmission

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has posted helpful information about preventing household transmission of COVID-19.  Other useful guidance and tools are here.

The NYC Test & Trace Corps is hosting a webinar about the City’s COVID-19 contact tracing program on Thursday, December 17 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

CMS COVID-19 Snapshot: 1.2 Million Cases Among Medicare Population

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released its monthly update of data that provides a snapshot of the impact of COVID-19 on the Medicare population. The updated data show 1.2 million COVID-19 cases among the Medicare population and over 332,000 COVID-19 hospitalizations.

The updated snapshot covers the period from January 1 to September 12, 2020. It is based on Medicare fee-for-service claims and Medicare Advantage encounter data CMS received by October 9, 2020.

SBA Webinars on PPP Loan Forgiveness

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is hosting four webinars on the topic of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness. SBA has asked that those interested in attending send an e-mail to SBA representative Man-Li requesting one of the below dates to attend. The dates are below (all at 12:30 p.m.):

Long-Term Disaster Recovery Toolkit Available for Individuals with Disabilities

Texas A & M University’s Center for Disability Studies has a Long-Term Disaster Recovery Toolkit for Individuals with Disabilities designed for long-term recovery groups, committees, disaster case managers, community-based organizations, disability-related organizations, and individuals with disabilities or others with access and functional needs.
