On July 7, the state Department of Health posted updated Frequently Asked Questions for the Health Care Worker Bonus Program.
One important update is that bonuses submitted for Vesting Period 3 (for those employed during the period October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023) should be paid to the employer on July 19, 2023 in eMedNY Cycle 2393.
According to the FAQs, employers must reimburse their eligible employees within 30 days of receipt of the bonus payment from the state
The next vesting period is for those employees who worked from April 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023 and employers can submit information from October 1 to October 31, 2023.
