The state Department of Health (DOH) has posted Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the requirement that agencies utilize Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all Medicaid-funded personal care services starting January 1, 2021.
The most recent one, dated July 2, covers: when EVV data should be submitted; which address should be used for the patient; vendor requirements; submitting transactions when one aide is serving two patients; and more.
DOH has been holding technical assistance calls twice a month; the schedule is here. The next call is on July 28.
