The Home Care Association of New York launched a three-pronged workforce initiative to attract healthcare students and professionals to home care.
“We know that workforce challenges and struggles — especially in home care — are multifaceted, so we really wanted to develop a multifaceted approach,” Celisia Street, vice president of workforce development and innovation for the association, told McKnight’s Home Care Daily Pulse in an interview. “They’re relatively small pilots because we’re really testing solutions and trying to find what strategies work … so that we can develop more broad recommendations.”
