New, Updated UAS-NY Policies

The state Department of Health (DOH) and Uniform Assessment System for New York (UAS-NY) have released three new policies for UAS-NY users and one updated policy.

The policies went into effect on Tuesday, October 6 and include required training associated with the new policies.

New Policies

UAS-NY.18.4.2B Additional Organization and Individual Responsibilities: reinforces existing federal, state, and local laws, policies, and regulations and outlines the consequences for any user or organization that might violate them.

UAS-NY.19.3 Course Transfers: ensures that standard processes are followed for all course transfers for the UAS-NY Training Environment.

UAS-NY.19.4 UAS Role Provisioning and Maintenance: ensures that UAS Roles are provisioned and maintained 1) following standard processes that support data security and 2) with regard to the educational, experience, and licensure requirements for each role in the UAS-NY.

Updated Policy

UAS-NY.18.4.2A Organization and Individual Responsibilities: ensures that standard processes are followed for all assessments conducted in the UAS-NY.
