National Government Services (NGS), New York’s principal Medicaid Administrative Contractor (MAC) for home health and hospice providers will be closed on November 25 and 26 for Thanksgiving. This includes the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Help Desk, Provider Contact Center, Provider Enrollment Line and Telephone Reopening Unit.
Electronic claim files transmitted after 5 p.m. on November 24 will have a claim receipt date of November 29.
The Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS)/Direct Data Entry (DDE) Provider Online System will be available on Thursday and Friday, during regular hours but with no support. Providers will also be able to access NGSConnex and use the interactive voice response (IVR) system at 1-866-275-3033.
NGS’s offices will reopen on Monday, November 29, 2021 for normal business hours.
