National Government Services (NGS) and two other Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) are joining to offer live educational sessions on the new Hospice Election Statement Addendum.
Because this is national webinar hosted by multiple MACs, seating is limited, and providers should register as soon as possible for one of the following two sessions.
- Understanding the Hospice Election Statement Addendum on December 10, 2020 at 3 p.m.
- Understanding the Hospice Election Statement on January 19, 2020 at 3 p.m.
NGS Closed on Thanksgiving
NGS will be closed on November 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving. This includes the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Help Desk, Provider Contact Center, Provider Enrollment Line, and Telephone Reopening Unit.
Electronic claim files transmitted after 5 p.m. on November 25 will have a claim receipt date of November 30.
The Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS)/Direct Data Entry (DDE) Provider Online System will be available on Thursday and Friday, during regular hours but with no support. Providers will also be able to access NGSConnex and use the interactive voice response (IVR) system at 1-866-275-3033.
