The state Department of Health (DOH) has posted the agenda for the March 30th Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) Committee on Establishment and Project Review meeting.
For the first time since DOH instituted a new certificate of need process and other changes for Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs), there are two LHCSA applications on the agenda. One is for a new LHCSA that would serve Rensselaer, Greene, Schenectady, Columbia and Washington counties. The other application is for a change of ownership of an existing LHCSA that serves Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
