HCA Innovations was established in 2023 as an affiliate entity to the Association developed to offer customized consultation for organizations within or outside of the HCANYS membership facing challenges that warrant strategic engagement falling outside of the scope of standard member service.

HCA is leading the way to securing funding, developing major partnerships, and obtaining key support for home care innovation.
HCA urges members to learn more about our grant-funded initiatives to support home care, hospice and Managed Long Term Care, many of which are made possible through grants to HCA to support the home and community based field, and home care’s role in the overall health care system.
HCA – through HCA’s 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate “HCA Education and Research, Inc. – is the recipient of grants through: the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, NY Health Foundation, NYS Department of Health, NYC Department of Health, Sepsis Alliance, END SEPSIS-The Legacy of Rory Staunton, Iroquois Workforce Investment Organization, partners like IPRO, and more. HCA graciously thanks these partners for the public health and service innovations this funding has helped enable for home care.
With the state’s Master Plan on Aging, the new coming multi-billion 1115 Medicaid Waiver, industry-wide emphasis on value based care, population health, improved quality outcomes, and other state and federal policy priorities, these initiatives are invaluable to your service organizations, staff and patients.

As a key component of member service, HCANYS provides extensive support and guidance to members related to myriad issues-- routine or unique. Members are encouraged to contact the Team with any individual questions or concerns for which they may need assistance.
