New Analysis Details Savings and Satisfaction With MLTC Plans in NYS HCA joined a group of statewide associations representing both health care providers and health plans to release a new fiscal and program analysis of S.7800/A.8470, a bill proposing to eliminate the current Medicaid Long Term Care (MLTC) program and replace it with a fee-for-service (FFS) model.
NGS Update: Upcoming Annual Logon ID Recertification for the New York and Connecticut Regions Logon IDs with New York and Connecticut FISS DDE access to the NGS regions must complete the recertification process by March 31, 2024. Logon IDs that are not recertified by March 31, 2024, will have their access to the FISS DDE New York and Connecticut region removed. Those logon IDs will be required to submit additional paperwork to have access restored.
It’s Sepsis Survivors Week February 11-17, 2024, is National Sepsis Survivors Week. HCA urges all member home care agencies, hospices, MLTCs, FIs, waiver programs and associated allied organizations to reach out to all agency staff, local media continuum partners, and other public sources to engage in sepsis awareness, prevention, and intervention.

DOH Sends Personal Care and CDPAP Providers a DAL on Minimum Wage Retroactive Adjustment for CY 2017 - 2021 This amount represents a retroactive adjustment to update the calendar year (CY) 2017 minimum wage increase of $0.90 ($11.70 for Live In service), inclusive of fringe, that was established by the Minimum Wage Act (Article 19 of the New York State Labor Law) for fee-for-service (FFS) rates for PC and CDPAS Medicaid services delivered in the "Rest of State" areas during January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2021.
